LIFT
Lofty
Lionhearted lark of light wing,
Where lies the joy with which you sing?
Air-filled bird perched on God’s finger,
Heaven’s cloud is where you linger;
Loyal liege of lofty legend,
Why place your faith in God and Heaven?
Squalls, snowfalls, frost and thunder harsh,
God keeps you, from meadow to marsh.
Live not before or after today,
Soar the heavens in which you stay;
Eat from the hand of our Provider,
Want for nothing, rise still higher.
