Hello and goodbye were first spoken with a kiss. Goodbye my partner and lover. With the hazards of life posed by man and beast, our lips may never join again. This kiss must last an eternity. Your lips are the portal of all the kind and caring words spoken to me. Your words are the sustenance of my heart. They are the pillars of my courage and strength.
Hello, my one and only love. Our love has survived another day of danger. We will brave the darkness and mystery of this night together. Our lips will join and we will become one again.

Trust commands truth to speak it;

Hello Nan: Thanks for your visit and encouragement. i never tried to write the lyrics for a song and am not musical.I'm sure that it requires a different writing style than mine.
Maybe you need to take up a new talent. You could play cord piano and pick around at the keys (smile) I used to play (3) instruments until I didn't have time anymore. I only played classical music. Since you go to a lot of artistic musicals, all kinds of music, try something new!

Hello Ruby: Sorry that I missed you in all the chatter going back and forth on this Hub. Love can last a lifetime but not if you get into it before you first love yourself.
I suffered from this problem for too many years. Now, I long to share myself with a soulmate for eternity. So many of us share this longing.
There is, for sure, nothing more potent than a kiss, and lips truly taste souls. People can have physical interactions of all kinds, but kissing is the purest nourishment for love. When couples stop kissing, their love for each other wilt and eventually dies. Beautiful, thought-provoking poem, sligobay.

I have no taste for the deeper kiss with everlasting memory which you prey, and the likes of you vampires, have been known to deliver in deceit. Shouldn't your comment read delicious rather than beautiful? I long only for the lips of a lover while you seek only the nape of their neck. I am oddly drawn to that anatomy by a kiss or two. Does that mean I may someday, join the likes of you? Nay, not I, who long only for the pleasure of a kiss of intimacy in this mortal realm.
